Metro Grow: Public Open House
The Fargo - Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments is in
the process of updating its Long Range Transportation Plan called
Metro Grow, which will help shape our transportation future through
the year 2045. The plan will be developed to meet our community’s
goals, needs, and priorities for all modes of travel.
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with the project
team and provide input for the future of transportation in our area. Meeting
information will also be available on metrogrow.org beginning October 24.
The Creative Bike Rack project, one of the City of Fargo’s public art initiatives, was officially launched in the downtown landscape on Sunday, June 24 at 1 p.m. Local artist and creator Jeff Knight engaged the local community for ideas and feedback during the place-making process. The design serves as a functional public art piece that brings awareness to the diversity of the community.

Building a Better Local Food System
The goal of the Food Systems initiative is to help the community better understand what we do and ways to become involved. With the significant growth we have experienced in our local food system comes the need for more collaboration and partnerships so that we can all best serve the community to increase access to safe, nutritious and affordable food.
