PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT

Public engagement has been held at two phases of the study.  The first round of public engagement was held in September of 2023 when the study was roughly 30% complete.  This engagement informed the public about the study, and solicited comments about the existing I-94 & 20th St Interchange in order to hear the needs and concerns from the public.

The second round of public engagement was held in March of 2025 and showed the two interchange alternatives developed after interchange analysis and stakeholder meetings.  The intent of the second round of engagement was to keep the public informed of the study progress and solicit feedback on the two interchange alternatives.

A draft report is currently in development and the public will be able to review and comment on the draft report shortly.  If you wish to be informed about the draft report, please refer to the Stay Informed column on this page.

Below is a summary of the first and second rounds of public engagement previously held. 

First Round (September 2023)

The first round of public engagement was held in September of 2023.  This engagement entailed online materials, online public feedback, and a public open house which was held on September 19th, 2023.

Materials provided as part of the first round of public engagement are provided below along with feedback from the in-person & online surveys.

Second Round (March 2025)

The second round of public engagement was held in March of 2025.  This engagement entailed online materials (including an online survey) and a public open house which was held on March 11th, 2025.
