13th Avenue Corridor Study

Main Avenue to 17th Street East

13th Avenue in West Fargo has a failing pavement with increased traffic patterns which will result in the need for reconstruction in the near future.  Vacant land along the western portion of the corridor has been targeted for development in the past and, with the reduction in available land in the Fargo Moorhead Metropolitan area, has seen increased commercial interest.  A study is needed to determine an appropriate future build when reconstruction soon becomes necessary.  The study should include current and future traffic patterns with consideration of existing and future right of way needs, bicycle, pedestrian and transit accommodations, turning movements and the feasibility/potential of a future grade separation at Interstate 94.

The Study will look at 13th Avenue from 17th Street East in West Fargo to County Road 28 (15th Avenue West) and then north to Main Avenue in West Fargo.
