Fargo-Moorhead Metro Railroad Needs Study

Project Objective

The purpose of this study is to analyze current railroad crossing needs within the Fargo-Moorhead metropolitan planning area and develop recommendations to address safer rail crossings such as adding grade separations, closing at-grade crossings, and improving existing at-grade crossings where train tracks and roads intersect.
